Jonathan North

Jonathan North joined Mohawk in September 2023 as Product Circularity Director. While new to the flooring industry, he is not new to sustainability or the circular economy. He has more than 30 years of international supply chain and sustainability experience across several industries including consumer packaged goods, retail, logistics, reusable packaging, and home furnishings.

Originally from the UK, Jonathan has spent his entire career overseas, with two stints in the US, two in The Netherlands and one in Sweden. As a result, he is keenly aware of the challenges and opportunities in driving more sustainable solutions in various markets.

At Mohawk, Jonathan leads the Product Circularity agenda and team. His responsibilities include the development and curation of Mohawk’s comprehensive portfolio of certifications across all flooring types. His team also manages the Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations that quantify the environmental impact of Mohawk’s flooring products. Additionally, his team oversees the ReCover program, Mohawk’s full-service end-of-life recovery and recycling program for flooring products.
