John Forbes is the Manufacturer Services Director for the National Wood Flooring Association where he is responsible for overseeing and promoting all industry issues and initiates relating to the environment, governmental advocacy, and manufacturer services.  John shepherded the industry in the creation of two Industry Averaged Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and developed the NWFA Engineered Refinishable Program to identify long-lasting wood flooring products.  John also manages the NWFA-NOFMA quality program, the NWFA Responsible Procurement Program (RPP), and represents NWFA with other industry organizations to advance the concerns of the wood flooring industry.
